C. Himatlal & Company

C. Himatlal & Company has been operating out of the Peerbhoy Building for a long time. We are located on the second floor at Plot No-33 and 89. If you know the Princess Street or Lohar Chawl area in Kalbadevi, you know it is one of the busiest parts of Mumbai. The building is old, with those high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that have seen decades of use. Getting things up to the second floor can be a bit of a challenge, but we are used to it by now. The streets outside, like Shamaldas Gandhi Marg, are always packed with people, handcarts, and taxis. It is a constant roar of noise that never really stops until late at night. Inside our office, it is a bit quieter, but we are always surrounded by piles of documents and samples. The floors are old stone, and the windows look out over the crowded market below. We do not have any of those modern glass partitions or fancy furniture. Everything here is functional and has been here for years. We deal with a lot of regular people who have been coming to this market for generations. It is a place built on long-standing relationships rather than flashy ads. We spend our hours answering the phone and checking the ledgers. It is a traditional way of doing business in the heart of the city, and we would not have it any other way.
