We are based in Chiplun, over in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra. Specifically, our office is in Sharifa Manzil in the Desai Mohalla area. Chiplun is a smaller town, so things move a bit slower here than they do in the big metros. We like it that way. Our office is a simple setup where we coordinate the regional work for the company. The building is a typical local structure, and we are right there in the middle of the neighborhood. Most people around here know the Desai Mohalla area well. We don't have any shiny signs or glass elevators. It’s just an office with some desks, chairs, and a bunch of files. Since we are in the Konkan region, it gets very green and rainy during the monsoon months, which can make getting to the office a bit of a splash. We spend our days talking to people about land and buildings in the area. It’s honest, straightforward work. We don't try to sound like we are in a fancy skyscraper in Mumbai. We are just locals working for a larger firm, keeping things running on the ground here in Ratnagiri. Sometimes we have to travel out to the smaller villages nearby, so the office might be closed for a few hours. There is a small tea stall nearby where we usually hang out during our breaks. It’s a quiet life but we stay busy with our tasks.
