Burger Corner

You can find Burger Corner over at Dadar Majura Gate. It’s not a very big place, just a simple counter and a few stools for people who want to eat quickly. The grill stays hot from the moment we open until we shut the shutters at night. There is always the smell of onions cooking in the air. It sticks to your clothes by the end of the day. We don’t have a massive menu with dozens of options. We just do burgers. It’s easier that way for everyone. The lunch rush can be a bit of a headache because everyone is in a hurry to get back to their offices or schools. We try to keep up, but sometimes the orders pile up and people have to wait a bit. We just keep flipping the patties and toasted buns. The floor gets a bit greasy, so we are always mopping it down. My brother handles the register most of the time while I stay in the back. It’s a lot of standing around, but the time goes by fast when the line is long. We get a lot of students from the nearby areas. They usually share a plate and talk about their classes. It’s a noisy, lively little corner of the street. Nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the grill going and hope for a good day.
