Surabhi Arts

We are tucked away in Om Shiv Shakti society over in Borivali West. Our place is on Madona Colony Road, which is usually a bit quieter than the main streets. We do all sorts of art and creative work right here from the flat. It’s a bit crowded with supplies and half-finished pieces, but that’s how a workspace should be. We’ve been here for years. Local neighbors often stop by to see what we are working on. We use a lot of different materials depending on what we’re making at the time. Sometimes it's messy with paint, other times it's cleaner work. We don't have a big storefront with glass windows. It's just a regular building where we do our thing. We spend most of our mornings getting things ready and the afternoons doing the actual work. It’s a small team, mostly just family and a couple of helpers. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule. If something needs to be finished, we stay late. If it’s a slow day, we might have an extra cup of tea and talk about new ideas. We just like making things. People find us through word of mouth mostly. We don’t do much advertising. We just show the work we’ve done and people seem to like it. It’s a good way to live, being creative right where we stay and seeing our pieces end up in people's homes around the neighborhood.
