We have been sitting here at Shop No C-1/2 in Old Ashok Nagar for a good while now. Borivali West is a place where everyone is always in a hurry, and we see that from our window every day. Most people who walk into our office are just looking for a decent place to live or a small shop to start their own work. We don’t have fancy brochures or a big team in suits. It is just us here, keeping track of which flat is empty and which landlord is looking for a new tenant. Sometimes the paperwork takes a bit of time, and the traffic outside on the road can get really loud during the evenings, but that is just how things are in this part of town. We know the lanes around JB Nagar quite well because we walk through them ourselves all the time. If someone asks about a specific building, we usually know who lives there or if the water supply is okay. It’s a small office, and we spend most of our day answering the phone or drinking tea while waiting for the next person to come in. We try to keep things simple and honest. Finding a home in Mumbai is never easy, so we just try to tell people the truth about what is available and what the rent is like. Nothing more to it, really. Just local work for local people.
