We've been around Borivali West for a good amount of time now. My name is Vora, and I spend most of my days dealing with local property matters right here in the neighborhood. Borivali is always moving, things are constantly changing with new shops and blocks appearing every few months. People usually just drop in when they're looking for a new flat or if they've got a place they want to rent out to someone decent. I spend a lot of time sitting at my desk, just chatting with whoever walks through the door. It isn't a fancy setup by any means. There are days when the paperwork feels like it's never going to end, but that’s just part of the job. I know these streets like the back of my hand. If you take a walk down the main road, you'll see all the construction happening. We try our best to keep a list of what’s actually available, though it changes weekly. Most of our visitors are local families or people working nearby who need a shorter commute. I don't rely on any high-tech systems, I mostly just use my notebooks and what I hear from the neighbors. When the monsoon hits, it gets a bit tricky to go out and look at properties, but we still get out there. People come in, we have some tea, and we figure out what they can afford. It is all very basic and grounded. We are just a small part of the Borivali West community.
