Gala Estate Agency

Our shop is No 7/11, located in the Visual/Variety building over in Borivali West. We are in the Kamathipura area, right opposite Soni Park. It is a lively spot to be in, and there is always something happening outside the door. I handle the estate agency work from here, helping people find shops or homes in the West side. The office is compact, but I have managed to fit everything I need inside. Being across from Soni Park is nice because there is at least a bit of green to look at when I step outside for a break. I deal with a lot of local landlords and people who have lived in Borivali for decades. My desk is usually a mess of keys and sticky notes with phone numbers on them. I do not use any fancy software; I just keep a good old-fashioned diary to manage the viewings. Sometimes people get confused between the East and West offices, but once they find us near the park, it is all fine. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop, so I usually have to keep the shade down for a few hours. It is a lot of hard work, especially when deals take a long time to close, but I enjoy the process. Meeting different families and hearing their stories is the best part of being a local agent here.
