Bombay Hand Tools

We are located at 198 Masjid Bunder, right across from the Bazar Market. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded and full of life. Bombay Hand Tools has been a part of this neighborhood for a long time. The shop is small and packed with all sorts of tools. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific wrench or hammer if you don't know where to look, but we usually have it somewhere in the back. The noise from the market is constant, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We open up early and stay until the market starts to wind down. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small items, but we enjoy the interaction with the local workers and traders. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just rely on people walking in. Most of the time, we’re just chatting with neighbors or helping a regular customer find something for their kit. It’s a bit dusty and the shelves are old, but it’s a real place where work gets done. Living and working in Masjid Bunder means you see everything. We’ve seen the market change so much, but our shop stays pretty much the same. It’s just how we like it. Just come by the Bazar Market and you’ll find us easily enough. It’s been our home for many years now.
