Bollywood Dance

Bollywood Dance is run out of Flat No 34 in the Juhu Neel Sagar building in Juhu, Mumbai. Juhu is a famous part of the city, known for the beach and the film stars, but we are just in a regular apartment building. Our space is on one of the upper floors where we have enough room to move and practice. It is not a massive professional studio with mirrors on every single wall and a fancy juice bar in the corner. It is a home-based business that feels very personal and local to the neighborhood. You can hear the sounds of the street and catch a bit of the sea breeze if the windows are open on a nice day. Juhu Neel Sagar is a typical Mumbai residential building, so people coming here usually know to look for the flat number and ring the bell. We do not have a big neon sign outside or anything like that. Most of the people who come here find us through word of mouth or by knowing the local area. The flat is kept simple so there is plenty of floor space for moving around. The address lists Gu at the end, which might be a bit of a typo or just a short way of writing the state, but everyone around here knows the Neel Sagar building anyway. It gets a bit lively when there are several people here at once, but that is the way we like it. It is an informal and honest way to run a dance space.
