Bobby Mukherji & Associates

Bobby Mukherji & Associates is basically just us working out of Akme Residency in Pandurangwadi. If you know Mumbai, you know how things go here. We spend a lot of time at B 402, dealing with paperwork and drawings. It’s a quiet enough spot considering the city noise outside. Mr. P. V. Sohoni’s place is where we’ve set up shop. There isn’t really anything fancy about it. We’ve got our desks, some old files, and usually a lot of tea going around to keep us focused. Most days it’s just about putting our heads down and getting through the projects we have on hand. The neighborhood is okay, a bit tucked away, which helps when we need to concentrate. We’ve been here for a while now, and the routine hasn’t changed much. People come in, we talk about the work, and then we get back to it. There aren’t any big glass walls or shiny lobbies here. It’s just a practical workspace where we try to stay organized. Sometimes the elevator acts up, but that’s just part of living and working in an apartment complex in Goregaon. We don’t spend much time on fancy talk. We just handle the tasks that come our way and try to keep things moving. It gets busy, especially in the afternoons, but we manage. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things in this corner of Mumbai. We’re just here doing the job.
