Bobby Mukherji & Associates

Our office is located in the Saiyog Co-Operative Housing Society on Nehru Road. We are in units 9, 70, and 71. It’s in the Santacruz East area, specifically Old Anand Nagar. If you’ve spent any time in Mumbai, you know how busy Nehru Road can get at any time of day. We’ve been here for quite some time now, just doing our work as architects and associates. It’s a bit of a maze in the society building sometimes, but we like the location because it’s central for our clients. Bobby Mukherji & Associates is a place where we spend long hours looking at blueprints and talking through design problems. The office isn't anything too fancy; it’s a working space filled with files, computers, and a lot of coffee cups. We don’t go for the high-end corporate look that some firms prefer. We prefer to just focus on the projects at hand. Whether it is a big building or a smaller renovation, we treat it with the same attention. We have a lot of discussions around the main table, sometimes they get a bit loud when we disagree, but that is just how we work through ideas. Living and working in Santacruz means we are right in the middle of everything. We see the city changing around us and we try to keep up with our own work. It’s a bit messy and loud sometimes, but it’s our space and it works for us.
