We are situated in Bandbox House on the 4th floor, over on Dr Annie Basant Road. This part of Mumbai is always moving, and we are right in the thick of it. The office here is a bit different from our other branches. It feels a little more tucked away even though the road outside is huge. We deal with a lot of the corporate side of the cooling business here. There are a lot of meetings and a lot of people walking around with clipboards and blueprints. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a productive one. We’ve got some long-term staff who have been sitting at the same desks for over a decade. They know where everything is, even when the filing system gets a bit messy. The elevators in Bandbox House have their own personality and sometimes you have to wait a while. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and site managers. It’s a lot of technical talk and checking specs. We don’t have those fancy break rooms with ping-pong tables. Our breaks are usually just a quick tea and maybe a biscuit while looking out at the traffic below. We try to keep our heads down and get the planning done so the field teams can do their work. It’s just a standard, busy office filled with people trying to stay on top of their tasks.
