Birla Sun Life

Our office for Birla Sun Life is over in Vile Parle, specifically in the Yamunanagar area. It is a pretty standard setup where we handle insurance and financial planning for people in the neighborhood. The desks are lined up in rows, and there are always plenty of pens and forms scattered around. We spend a lot of time explaining different policies to folks who walk in off the street. Yamunanagar is a decent place to work, though finding parking can be a real headache some days. Inside the office, it’s mostly quiet except for the sound of typing and the occasional phone call. We have a small area with some chairs for people to wait in, and we keep a stack of old magazines there. Most of us have been working here long enough to know the regular clients by name. It’s not a high-pressure environment; we just take things as they come. The walls are mostly bare, maybe a calendar or two, because we aren't really into fancy decorating. We focus on getting the details right on the applications and making sure the files are stored away properly at the end of the day. It’s a steady job in a nice part of Vile Parle, and we just try to be helpful to anyone who needs some advice on their savings or protection plans. We just keep the records straight and the coffee pot full.
