We are located at 101 Royal Apt, which is an extension of Prathana in Vile Parle East, though we also deal with properties out toward Colaba Road. It’s a bit of a stretch between the two areas, but we manage to make it work somehow. Being at Royal Apt means we see a lot of the local crowd every day. It’s a small office, nothing too flashy. We’ve been helping people with property for a good bit of time now. Mostly, it’s about knowing who is selling and who is looking for something specific. We don’t use any high-tech systems, just our notebooks and our mobile phones. I keep a spare charger in the drawer because the phone dies quickly with all the calls. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, waiting for the phone to ring. Other days, we are running back and forth between Vile Parle and Colaba in the heat. The traffic on Colaba Road can be a real nightmare, but you get used to it after a few years. We don’t promise anyone the world. We just show the flats that are actually available and tell them the price the owner wants. If they like it, that is great. If not, we just look for something else that might fit better. It’s practical, everyday work. Most of our clients come from word of mouth. Someone’s cousin needs a place, and they send them to us. We just try to keep things straightforward for everyone involved.
