Bhavika Ladies Dress Makers

We have been running Bhavika Ladies Dress Makers for quite a while now. Our shop is located at Shop No 8 inside the Modi Chawl Compound over in Santacruz West. It is right opposite the Asiad Plaza Shopping Centre, which most people around here know pretty well. We spend most of our days working on different types of ladies' outfits and stitching things for the neighborhood women. It’s a small place but we keep busy with all the measurements and fabric pieces lying around. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when customers come in all at once, but that is just how it goes in a local shop. People stop by to get their suits or blouses fitted. We don’t really do fancy advertisements because folks usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. Santacruz is a lively area and being near the shopping centre helps people find us easily enough. We keep the sewing machines running and try to get things done when we say we will. It’s not a big corporate setup, just us working on clothes and making sure the fit is right for whoever walks through the door. There is always a lot of thread and scraps of cloth on the floor by the end of the day, but that’s part of the job.
