Bhat'S Tooling Equipments is situated at 22/A, N. S. Palya, right off the main Bannerghatta Road. This part of Bangalore is always packed with vehicles, especially with the ongoing metro work and everything else that seems to be under construction nearby. We have been in this little corner for quite some time, focusing on different types of tools and equipment that local workshops and factories need to keep their lines running. It is a bit of a dusty environment, which is really just expected when you are dealing with metal and heavy machinery all day long. The shop floor is where most of the life happens. We have got our regular guys who have been with the firm for years, and we all know exactly how the machines should sound when they are working right. We don't really do much in the way of big meetings or fancy presentations; we usually just talk over a cup of hot coffee near the front entrance. Sometimes the power goes out unexpectedly, or the heavy rain makes the road outside a complete mess, but we just carry on with whatever is sitting on the workbench. It is a simple, no-nonsense setup. We take the orders as they come, we look at the handwritten specs, and we try to get the tools ready as per the agreed schedule. There is no corporate vibe here at all, which suits us just fine. We are just a bunch of people who know their way around tooling equipment.
