Bharat

Bharat is our small place located in Kokan Nagar, right inside the Kokan Darshan Building. We are over in Jogeshwari East, and if you know the Subhanpura area, you’ve probably walked past us a few times. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads, but we stay busy with the locals who live nearby. We’ve been operating out of this building for a while, mostly helping out people with whatever they need throughout the day. It’s not the kind of place with big neon signs or a lot of noise. We just keep things moving and talk to the neighbors when they stop in. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped inside because we have a lot of stuff tucked away on the shelves, but we know where everything is. Running a business in Jogeshwari means you see a lot of different people every day. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. Word usually gets around just by people talking to each other at the market or on their way home. My family and I handle most of the work here ourselves. It is a simple life and a simple shop. We open up early and stay until the evening when the sun goes down over Kokan Darshan. It feels good to be a regular part of this community after all these years. If you are ever around Subhanpura and need something, we are usually around to help you find it. We don't have a fancy website or anything, just the shop.
