Bharat Sanghvi Estate Agency is run out of Flat No 704 in the B Wing of Shub Shan, which is in Kandivali West. We are situated right behind the Bobby Shopping Centre, so it’s a familiar spot for anyone living in this part of Mumbai. Working out of a flat gives it a different feel than a big glass office on the main road. It's more quiet and personal. We handle a lot of different things, mostly focused on the apartments and commercial spaces around Kandivali. Since we are right behind the shopping centre, we get a lot of locals who know us by word of mouth. It isn't about fancy brochures or big promises here. We just know the buildings in this neighborhood well. Sometimes people come by just to ask what the prices are doing or if a certain wing in a building has any openings. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking out flats that have just become vacant. It’s a bit of a grind, especially with the paperwork involved in Mumbai real estate, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the routine. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure things move along properly. It’s a local agency that focuses on the immediate area because that is what we know best. We’ve seen many families move in and out of these blocks over the years and we just keep doing our part.
