You can find us at the Taj Shopping Centre, right at Ramwadi Chowk in Bhandup East. We’re at number 2. It’s a busy little corner of the world, especially during the market hours. Being in a shopping centre means there’s always something going on outside the door. I’ve been here at J S Real Estates for quite a few years now. The office is small and tucked away, but it serves us well. I have a desk that’s usually covered in maps and folders. Bhandup East is a place with a lot of history and a lot of people looking for homes. I spend my time mostly talking to people from the neighborhood or showing flats to newcomers. It’s a lot of navigating through the narrow streets around Ramwadi Chowk. I know most of the shopkeepers nearby, so we often chat over tea in the afternoons. The work is mostly just keeping track of who is selling and who is looking to rent. It’s a lot of small details that you have to get right, or the paperwork gets messy. I don’t go in for anything fancy. I just open the office in the morning and see who comes through the door. It’s a very local way of doing things, but in a place like Bhandup, that’s usually the best way. If you’re at the Taj Shopping Centre, just look for the sign.
