Amar Glass Industries

Our workshop is Amar Glass Industries and you can find us at No. 1029 inside the Bhandup Industrial Estate. Specifically, we are in the Pannalal Compound on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. It is a big area with a lot of other businesses around us, so it can be a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with the layout. The compound is always full of activity, with people loading and unloading all sorts of things. Our spot is pretty functional. We have the machines for the glass and enough space to keep the sheets safe. LBS Marg is a very busy road, so getting here in the morning takes some patience with the traffic. Once we are inside the estate, it feels like its own little world. We have been here for a while and know most of the other folks working in the nearby units. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, but we keep the fans going. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks because we are usually out on the floor dealing with the materials. It is a bit noisy and there is always a layer of fine dust, but that is part of the job. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s a practical place for practical work in Bhandup.
