Bhalaria Metal Craft is run out of Soni House in Suvarna Nagar. Our office is at 401, which is just a regular building in a busy part of Mumbai. We don't have a giant factory floor right here; this is more where we handle the orders and talk to people about what they need. The space is filled with samples of the metalwork we do, mostly stainless steel stuff. It’s a bit cramped with all the catalogs and boxes lying around, but we know where everything is. Mumbai is always loud and moving, and our street is no different. We spend our days on the phone or responding to emails, making sure the production side of things is moving along. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so we have a good sense of what people are looking for in kitchenware or metal items. It’s a family-run kind of feel here, even if we’ve gotten bigger over the years. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just make metal products that last. If you come by, you’ll probably find us sorting through designs or checking the latest shipping schedules. It’s practical work, and we try to keep things as straightforward as possible for everyone involved. We just close up at the end of the day and head home through the traffic.
