It’s a small space, mostly filled with logs, clipboards, and the sound of phones ringing. Someone is always asking about a delivery or checking on where a driver is. It gets pretty hectic around here, especially in the afternoons when we are trying to get the last loads dispatched. The area around the industrial estate is always crowded, so getting the big vehicles in and out can be a real headache sometimes. We don't have fancy furniture or a reception area with coffee. It's just a working office with some old desks and a lot of paper. My family has been doing this for a long time. We know the routes and we know the drivers. It’s a tough business because there are always delays you can't control, like traffic or engine trouble. But we just keep at it. We talk to the clients, tell them the truth about the timing, and try to get the goods where they need to go. It's a lot of long hours and phone calls, but that's just the life of a transport company in this city.
