Taurus By Rabia

Our little spot is on the first floor of Bosoco Mansion, right there on Hill Road in Bandra West. It’s a great location because we are right opposite the Sagar Shopping Centre. Bandra is always moving, and Hill Road is probably one of the busiest streets around. Taurus By Rabia is where we put together our clothing collections. The building is an older one, which gives it some character, though the stairs can be a bit steep. Inside, we have racks of clothes and a small area where we do fittings. It’s not a massive department store; it’s more of a personal space where we get to know the people who walk in. Often, we are sitting in the back working on new designs or fixing a hem while waiting for customers. We have been in this neighborhood for a while now and we love the energy of the local market. Sometimes it gets so loud outside with the honking and the shoppers that we can hardly hear each other talk, but that is just Mumbai for you. We don't do a lot of big advertising. Most of our people find us by word of mouth or by just walking past and seeing our sign. We keep things simple and try to make clothes that people actually want to wear in their daily lives. It is just a few of us here making sure things run smoothly every day and we always have a kettle on.
