Vama Collections

If you walk down to New Amrut Nagar on Firwadi Road, you will find Vama Collections. We are located at No. 2/11 in a regular shop that fits right into the neighborhood. We deal with various clothes and fabrics, and the shelves are almost always overstuffed. It is hard to keep everything perfectly neat because people are always pulling things out to look at them. My sister and I run the place most of the time. We start the day by dusting the racks, although the dust always seems to find its way back inside from the street. Firwadi Road is always a bit busy with scooters and delivery vans passing by. We do not have a big display window or any fancy lighting. People usually just find us by walking past or because a neighbor told them about us. We have been in this spot for several years and we like the quiet feel of the area in the evenings. Sometimes the kids from the nearby buildings play right outside our door. We do not do any big advertising. We just try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who comes in. Sometimes the stock we order takes forever to arrive, which can be a real headache. But usually, we manage to keep things moving. It is a small business and we put a lot of our own time into making sure it stays open.
