My name is Balrajeshwar, and we handle property stuff around Street Number 4 here in Mumbai. It is just me and a couple of others in the office most days. We deal with buying, selling, and renting, mostly local flats and small shops nearby. This part of Mumbai is busy, and people are always looking for a place or trying to move out. We have been sitting at this same spot for quite a while now. Some days it is quiet, other days the phone won't stop ringing because someone needs a lease signed or a deposit sorted. We don't do anything fancy, just the basic paperwork and showing people around houses when they have time. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we stay open until late evening so workers can stop by after their shifts. If you walk down Street Number 4, you will probably see our sign near the corner. It is nothing special, just a desk and some chairs. We know the neighbors and which buildings have leaks or good water supply. Dealing with property is mostly just listening to what people need and trying to find a match that fits their budget. Sometimes it works out fast, sometimes it takes months of looking. We just keep the files organized and try to be honest about what a place looks like before someone makes the trip down here to see it. That is pretty much how we run things every day.
