Bakle & Bakle

Bakle & Bakle is located at 133 Narayan Dhuru St. If you know this street, you know how busy it gets. There are people everywhere and the noise from the traffic never really stops. Our place is tucked into one of the older buildings. The entrance is narrow and you have to watch your step when you come inside. We’ve got stacks of paper and files on almost every flat surface, and the shelves are pretty packed too. It’s the kind of office where you know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We spend most of our time answering phones or writing things down in big ledgers. The air in the building feels a bit old, like it’s seen a lot of history. We usually have the windows open, but that just lets in the dust from the street. Narayan Dhuru St. has a lot of energy, and being right at 133 means we are in the middle of it all. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Most people who come to see us have been coming here for years and know exactly which door to open. It’s just a small team of us working through the daily chores. We don't really do anything flashy. It’s just honest work in a busy part of the city. Sometimes the tea man comes by twice an afternoon, and we always take a few minutes to drink it while looking out at the crowds below.
