Badhshah Carbide Tools

Badhshah Carbide Tools is in the Esmail Building, which is right across from the Ram Mandir in Masjid Bunder West. This is an old part of the city, so the streets are narrow and always full of people and carts. Our shop is at number 33. We mainly deal with carbide tools, the kind used in factories and workshops. The building has high ceilings and narrow halls, giving it a very traditional Mumbai feel. We have shelves that go all the way up to the ceiling, filled with all kinds of cutting bits and industrial tools. It is a bit dark inside sometimes, but we know where everything is kept. Dealing with customers here is always fast because everyone is in a rush to get back to their work. We do not have a showroom or any big advertisements. It is just us and the tools and the paperwork. The noise from the temple across the street is something we hear every day. Sometimes we have to raise our voices to talk over the sound of the trucks on the road. It is a gritty and busy environment, but we like being in Masjid Bunder. We focus on getting the right tools to the people who need them for their machinery. It is a simple and honest way of doing things in a very crowded part of town. We just keep at it every day and try to stay helpful to the people who come in.
