We are tucked away at A/2, right behind the Sardar Wine Shop in Khar. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't actually looking for it, but we sort of like it that way. Khar is a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise, and being behind the main shop gives us a little bit of quiet, even if it's not much. Baba has been operating out of this specific spot for quite a while now. The space inside is a bit small and we often have to stack things up high just to make it all fit into the room. It’s an old building, so the walls have some cracks and character. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, one of us will just look up from our desk and say hello. It’s a very casual environment where we don't worry about appearances too much. We drink a lot of coffee throughout the day and try to keep our tasks moving along. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow alley, which can be a bit of a hassle when we’re trying to leave. We’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around this corner pretty well over the years. It’s a tight-knit little part of Khar. We don't really do the whole corporate thing with meetings and memos. We just have our work and we do it. It's a simple life.
