Avinash Estate Consultant is located in Vile Parle West, right across from the Juhu Club. It’s a great spot to be because there is always something going on nearby. You can hear the traffic and the people heading over to the club or the beach. Our office is a small room that we’ve made our own over the years. It’s packed with folders and old maps of the Vile Parle and Juhu areas. We don't have a fancy coffee machine or leather sofas. Usually, we just pull up a plastic chair for anyone who stops by. Living and working in this part of Mumbai means you get used to the noise and the crowds pretty quickly. We aren't some big firm with offices all over the country. We just focus on this one neighborhood because it’s what we know best. We’ve seen the buildings go up and the shops change hands for a long time now. Most people come to us because they saw our name on a board or a friend told them we were here. We don't do much in the way of advertising. We just sit at our desks, answer the phone, and try to give people the right information about the local flats and shops. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do. We try to keep things honest and simple without all the extra talk. The humidity from being near the coast can be a lot, but we just deal with it. We have a small radio that plays in the background sometimes to fill the silence when things are slow.
