Atlas Machine Tools

We've been here at 55 Tamarind Lane for a long time now. If you know the Fort area, you know it's a bit of a maze with all the small lanes and old buildings. We are right behind the Central Bank of India on Nagin Das Master Road. It’s a busy spot, always something happening outside the door. Most days we are just busy organizing the machine tools and making sure everything is where it should be. The shop isn't huge but we pack a lot in here. People come in looking for specific parts or just to see what we have in stock. We don't really do much fancy talk, we just show what’s available on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic on the road makes it hard for deliveries to get through on time, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of heavy stuff, so there is usually a bit of noise and grease around. It's a straightforward setup. We open up in the morning, sort through the orders, and wait for the regulars to drop by. It’s mostly about knowing which tool fits which job. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but the lane stays pretty much the same. It's dusty and crowded, but it’s where we work. We keep the ledger books updated and try to keep things moving. There’s no big secret to it, just showing up and dealing with the machinery every day.
