If you walk down 100 Feet Road in Vysya Bank Colony, you’ll find us at T-15/16. It is a busy spot in Lower Parel. We have been running Asia 7 for a while now. Most days start pretty early because there is a lot to prep before the doors actually open. We deal with various dishes that people around here seem to like. It is not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that. Just a kitchen and some tables where we try to get things right. Sometimes the lunch rush gets a bit chaotic, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the stove is working okay. The staff here has been together for a bit, so we know each other's habits. There are no big speeches about goals here. We just focus on what is on the stove and who is walking through the door. The floor gets scuffed up and we have to mop it more often than we’d like. It’s a practical place for people who want a meal without any fuss. We handle the deliveries too, which can be a headache when traffic is bad on the main road. But we manage. Most of the time, it’s just about keeping the kitchen running and making sure the light bulbs aren't flickering. That is our daily life here at Asia 7.
