Ashok T Lalchandani

Ashok T Lalchandani is located over in Bandra West. Specifically, we are in the Mayur Housing Society, in the Nilgiri section on the 2nd Floor. The building is the Gryphon Nawal Kunj Building. A good way to find us is to look for Chandu Sweets, because we are right above them. You can smell the frying and the sugar all day long. It makes you hungry even if you just finished eating lunch. Being on the second floor means I have to climb the stairs every time I go out, which is fine, it keeps me moving. The office itself is part of the housing society, so it has a very residential feel. It doesn’t feel like a cold corporate place at all. It feels like a home that has been turned into a workspace over time. We have some wooden cabinets and a big window that looks out over the street. Bandra is always loud and there’s always something happening outside near the market. We can see the people queuing up for sweets downstairs throughout the afternoon. The Nilgiri part of the society is relatively quiet compared to the main road, but you still hear the sounds of the city. We’ve got some old rugs on the floor and some mismatched chairs for visitors. It’s just a comfortable, slightly messy place where we get our work done. It’s been our spot for a long time and we like being right here.
