Our business is located at 50 C.P. Tank inside Noor Manzil. It is an old building, and we have been in this space for a long time. The air always smells a bit like metal and machine oil. We deal with steel parts and various engineering supplies. It is a working shop, so do not expect it to be very tidy. There are piles of metal rods and heavy boxes stacked up against the walls. My desk is tucked in the corner, covered in slips and old catalogs. People come here when they need specific parts for a repair or a project they are working on. The street outside C.P. Tank is always crowded and noisy, with carts and people constantly moving. Inside, it is a bit darker, but we have bright lights over the work areas. I spend a lot of my time talking to contractors and mechanics who know exactly what they want. We do not do much talking about fancy things; we just find the piece you need and get it sorted. Sometimes the floor gets a bit greasy, so you have to watch your step. It is a solid, old-fashioned way of doing business. I know most of the other guys in Noor Manzil. We have all been here through many seasons. It is just a place where work gets done and steel gets sold to the people who need it.
