If you look for Flat Number 9 in the Silvers Sand Apartment, you will find us there. We are right in Andheri West, specifically in Swami Narayan Nagar. It is a very busy part of the city, especially being right opposite the bus depot in Versova. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long. Asap Properties has been run from this flat for a while. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze with all the maps and property documents we keep on the shelves. Living and working in Versova means you get used to the salt in the air and the constant movement of people. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites around the neighborhood. The apartment isn't a big glass office tower. It's just a regular place where we keep our computers and a few chairs for visitors. Often, we are out and about more than we are sitting at the desk. Traffic in Andheri can be a nightmare, so we try to do most things on foot if they are close by. We know the local shops and the guys at the bus depot pretty well. There is no fancy lobby or receptionist here. Just knock on the door of number nine. We deal with real estate in a very straightforward way without any big speeches. It keeps us grounded and connected to the people living around us in this part of Mumbai.
