Aromas Of China

Located over on 45th Cross in Goregaon East, our place is called Aromas Of China. It’s tucked away a bit, so you have to know which turn to take. We’ve been serving Chinese dishes here for several years. We do things a bit differently than the roadside stalls. The kitchen is always busy with chopping vegetables and prepping the meats. We don't use a lot of those pre-made sauces; we try to mix our own in the back. The dining area is simple. We have some pictures on the wall of places we’ve never actually been to, but they look nice. The air conditioning works most of the time, though on really hot days it struggles a bit. We get a lot of office workers during lunch and families in the evening. It’s a quiet neighborhood compared to the main roads. Sometimes the light in the restroom flickers, we keep meaning to change the bulb. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel. We just want to give people a good meal for a fair price. The staff is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from taking orders to clearing tables. It’s hard work, but it’s our business. If you are in Goregaon East, come find us on the 45th Cross. We’re usually there from noon onwards, prepping for the day ahead. We don't have a lot of frills, but the food is honest and made fresh every day.
