Arihant Industries

We've been at Sonya Maruti Chowk for a good while. It's usually pretty busy around here on Laxmi Road 8, especially in the mornings when everyone is getting started with their day. Arihant Industries isn't a huge place, just a regular workshop setup. Most of us have been working here for years. You'll find us at 201 Borivali East if you're ever passing through. We handle different jobs depending on what comes in that week. Some days it's quiet and we’re just tidying up the floor or checking the equipment, and other days it's loud and messy with projects piled up. We aren't fancy and we don't have a big front office. It's mostly just metal, some old desks, and a lot of grease on the floor. People around the neighborhood know where we are because of the Maruti temple nearby. We try to keep the noise down so we don't bother the neighbors too much, but work is work. If we say a job will take three days, we really try to hit that mark, though sometimes things break or parts don't show up on time. That's just how it goes in this business. We’ve seen the area change a lot over time. There are more shops now than when we first moved into this unit. We just keep our heads down and stay busy with whatever is on the bench. It’s a simple way to make a living. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, and the tea guy comes by at eleven.
