Anudeep Properties

In the middle of Jujhar Nagar, specifically on Street No 1 in Abdullapur Basti, you’ll find our little setup. Anudeep Properties is very much a local neighborhood business. This area of Mumbai is packed with houses and narrow lanes, so everyone knows everyone else’s business anyway. We don't have a big neon sign or a plush waiting room. It is just a desk and a couple of chairs where we talk about plots and rooms for rent. Kalsian Street is always busy with kids playing or people heading to work. We spend a lot of our time just sitting with neighbors and hearing about who is selling what. It’s more about relationships than it is about big contracts here. We have lived in this area for years, so we know which buildings have water issues and which ones are built well. Sometimes we just walk around the Basti to see what’s new. It is a modest way to work. We don't use a lot of technical jargon. If a place is good, we say it’s good. If it’s too expensive for what it is, we say that too. People trust us because we are part of the community. The office gets a bit cramped when the whole family stops by, but that is just how things go. It is a simple life, helping people find a place to stay in our corner of the city.
