You can find us on the ground floor of Albion Palace in Byculla East. The area is known as Chandi Bazar, and the road is Sant Savta Marg. It is an old part of Mumbai with a whole lot of history. Our specific space is 3B. Being on the ground floor is quite handy for moving boxes in and out throughout the day. We handle fine food products here. The building itself has a lot of character, though the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We are not too bothered by that. We are more focused on the daily tasks of running the food business. It gets quite noisy outside with the market nearby, but we have all gotten used to it. The staff is local. We do not have a big HR department or anything like that. If there is a problem, we just talk it out and fix it ourselves. We keep our records in big ledgers and on one old computer that sometimes acts up. It is a practical setup. People drop by sometimes just to say hello or check on an order they placed. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee. It is not a fancy showroom. It is just where the work happens. Byculla is a busy place, and we fit right in with the other shops and small businesses around the bazar. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs every single day.
