My name is Anita Godia. My work happens at Lal Baug, specifically at 1003. If you know this area, you know it can be very crowded and lively, especially during the festivals. I have been based in this building for a long time. It is a small place but it is where I do everything. I don't have a lot of staff, so it's mostly me handling the day-to-day things. I wake up, head over to the office, and stay there until the work is finished. It’s a very honest way to earn a living. I don't really care for fancy furniture or expensive decorations. The walls are plain and the desk is old, but it works for me. I spend a lot of time on the phone or just organizing papers. Living and working in Lal Baug keeps me busy. There is always something happening outside the window. I like the energy of the streets here. Sometimes customers or neighbors drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question. I try to be helpful whenever I can. It’s just a normal business like any other on this street. I don't have a big philosophy about what I do, I just make sure the work gets done correctly and on time every single day. That is how I’ve always done it at 1003. It's a small room but it fits my life perfectly.
