Our office is over in Malad West, specifically at B 104 on the Pipe Line Main Road. It’s a lively spot with plenty of people moving about all day long. Anil Dighe started this place because he wanted to help people build things that made sense for the way they actually live. We aren’t into those over-the-top designs that don’t work in real life. Most of our day is spent looking at site plans and trying to figure out how to fit everything a client wants into the space they actually have. It’s like a puzzle that sometimes doesn’t want to be solved. We have a lot of samples lying around—bits of stone, wood pieces, and metal hinges. It makes the office look a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. People come in to talk about their shops or their homes, and we just sit down and hash it out over some tea. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act more important than we are. We're just workers who happen to know how to design buildings. The traffic on Pipe Line Main Road can get loud, but we just shut the door and get back to the drawings. It's a decent place to work, and we've been here long enough that the neighbors know us. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the plans are solid.
