Andys Pizzas is a small spot on MG Road in Khar. It’s not a big fancy restaurant with waiters in ties. We have a few stools and a counter where you can see the oven. The oven is the main thing here, and it’s been running pretty much non-stop since we opened. Khar is a busy neighborhood, and MG Road always has something going on. We get a mix of students, office workers, and people just passing through. The dough is something we handle every morning. It’s messy work, and my hands are usually covered in flour by noon. We don't have a massive menu with fifty different options. We just do a handful of things and try to do them the same way every time. The bell on the door rings a lot, and sometimes the phone doesn't stop. It can get a bit chaotic during the dinner rush, and we might mix up an order once in a while, but we always try to fix it. We didn't spend much on the sign outside, so it’s a bit small. People usually find us by the smell of the baking crust anyway. It’s just me and a couple of friends working the shifts. We enjoy the music we play and the people we meet. It’s a simple life running a pizza place in this part of town. The sink in the back leaks a bit, but we keep a towel under it.
