Anchor Industries

Our place is at B/26 in the Minerva Industrial Estate. It’s right off P.K. Road and behind Saidham in Mulund West. If you’ve ever been around here, you know how busy it gets. The estate is always humming with the sound of different units working away. We’ve been here for quite a while now. The walls in our unit are a bit scuffed from moving equipment around over the years. It isn’t a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner. We mostly rely on the big industrial fans to keep the air moving, especially when it gets really hot in April and May. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won’t ever come out. I guess most of the guys here have been with us for a long time. We know each other’s families and what everyone likes for lunch. Usually, we get some tea from the stall at the corner twice a day. It’s a bit of a ritual for us. Anyway, sometimes the trucks blocking the entrance to the estate make things difficult, but we just deal with it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to get the work done and get home to our families. The sign outside is getting a bit old and the paint is peeling, but everyone knows where we are. It’s a simple life of making things and keeping the machines running for the day.
