Anchal Chopra

I’m Anchal Chopra and I run my business out of Shop No T/1 in the Garden Colony Bui in Mahim. It’s a small shop but it serves its purpose well. I spend most of my time here, surrounded by the usual day-to-day chaos of running a small place. Mahim is a lively area, and Garden Colony is tucked away just enough to be quiet some days. I didn't want a big corporate office because I like being on the ground level where people can just walk in. The shop has everything I need to stay organized, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. I handle most things myself, from answering the phone to dealing with the paperwork. It’s been a learning process since I started, but I’m getting the hang of it. Sometimes I wonder if I should have more help, but for now, it's just me. I enjoy the independence. When you come to T/1, you’ll probably find me at my desk or organizing the stock. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what I do. It’s just work. I’ve lived in Mumbai my whole life, so setting up in Mahim felt like a natural choice. It's a good community and the shop is easy for people to find once they know where the Garden Colony Bui is. I usually have some tea waiting if a friend stops by.
