We operate out of the Kaiser I Hind Building, which is a classic old structure in Ballard Estate. Our office is up on the third floor on Currimbhoy Road. Ballard Estate is one of those places in Mumbai that feels like it’s from another era with its wide streets and heavy stone buildings. Ananya Realty Llp is based here, and we mostly focus on the property market in and around the city center. It’s a quiet office for the most part, unless we’re in the middle of closing a deal or talking to a landlord. We spend our time going through legal documents and meeting with people who want to buy or lease space in this part of town. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency out there; we just want to do a good job for the people who come to us for help. The work involves a lot of patience, especially with how slow things can move in the real estate world. We often walk over to nearby offices or the docks to check on property conditions. It’s a very professional neighborhood, but we keep our own office pretty casual and friendly. Most of our day is taken up by phone calls and verifying details for various local listings. We’ve seen the market go up and down, so we have a pretty good idea of what a fair price looks like around here. It’s just honest work in a beautiful old part of Mumbai that we enjoy being in.
