We are located at 1 Dahisar Kaveri Co Operative Housing Society. It is quite close to Janta Bakri, which is a good landmark because the smell of fresh bread usually reaches our office in the mornings. Being part of a housing society means we are right where the people live. Our office is a small room on the ground floor where we handle various insurance and service tasks. It’s a quiet place compared to the main roads of Mumbai. We have a couple of old desks and some wooden cabinets where we keep all the policy documents and files. We don’t have fancy neon signs or anything like that. Usually, we just sit here and help neighbors with their insurance renewals or whatever paperwork they are struggling with. It’s a very personal way of doing business. Sometimes people just stop by for a chat on their way to the bakery. The lighting inside isn't the brightest, but it’s comfortable enough for working. We’ve been here for a good number of years and we’ve seen the neighborhood change slowly. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know the rules and how to fill out the forms correctly. It’s a steady, calm kind of job. We like the fact that we can help people without them having to travel too far from their homes.
