My office is up on the fourth floor of the Wall Street 1 building here in Lokhandwala Township. It’s a decent area on Akurli Road, usually quite a bit of activity downstairs. I’ve been working from this spot, 12/A 404, for some time now. It’s not a huge corporate space, just a regular office where I handle my day-to-day business. Mostly, I’m at my desk dealing with whatever projects are on the table. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the road, which can get pretty loud during rush hour. I don’t have a big staff or anything, so it stays fairly quiet inside. Sometimes clients stop by to discuss things, but mostly it's just me and the computer. I try to stay organized, though my desk often ends up covered in papers by Wednesday. Lokhandwala is a good place to be because everything is close by. If I need a coffee or to run an errand, it’s just a short walk. I’ve lived and worked in this part of town long enough to know the shortcuts and which shops are best. It’s a straightforward setup. I don't go for anything flashy. I just show up, get the work done, and head home. The building has a lift, which is a relief since being on the fourth floor would be a climb otherwise. It’s a steady routine and it keeps me busy throughout the week. That’s about it for what goes on here. I find it is a good place to focus.
