Alpha Impex

Our place is a bit hard to find if you don't know the landmarks. We are in Asalpha Village, Ghatkopar West, near the Bal Surve office in Loylka Baug. The road is J.M.M. Road, specifically in Kulkarni Wadi. It is one of those neighborhoods where the lanes are narrow and there are people everywhere. Our office is small and usually filled with boxes waiting to be shipped out or just arrived. Since we do import and export, there is a lot of tape and packing material lying around. We have a small desk where we handle all the customs papers and emails. It’s usually quite warm inside, so we keep a couple of pedestal fans going all day. The noise from the street outside never really stops. You can hear the scooters and the voices of people walking by all the time. Sometimes we have to carry boxes out to the main road because the bigger trucks can’t get down our lane. It’s a lot of manual work and coordination. We have a small tea break in the evening when things slow down a bit. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and we know all the other shop owners nearby. It is a tight-knit community and we just do our part in the middle of it all. No fancy stuff here, just a lot of logistics and hard work every day. Asalpha is a busy place, and being near the Bal Surve office helps people give directions. We have a lot of regular drivers who know the way in, which saves a lot of time.
