Almas Art Dyers

Almas Art Dyers is located in Room No 13 of B D D Block No 12, over on M Marg in Sewri Sector 17. It’s a bit of a maze in these blocks if you aren’t familiar with them. We’ve been in this room for a long time now. The walls are stained with different colors because of the work we do, but that’s just part of being a dyer. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how we move around. We don't have any fancy machinery. A lot of it is done by hand with big vats and buckets. My father started Almas Art Dyers and I took over after he couldn't do it anymore. We spend our days dealing with fabrics and dyes. It’s messy work and our hands are usually stained by the end of the shift. Sector 17 is a busy industrial kind of area. There is always the sound of trucks and people working nearby. Room No 13 is where we feel at home, though. We don't have a big office or a reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll find us right in the middle of the work. We don't put out advertisements. People in Sewri know where to find us when they need something dyed. It’s a practical business. We just try to do the job right and get it finished on time.
