We’re located in the heart of South Mumbai, down in Colaba. Our office is in Allana House on Allana Road. It’s an old part of the city, and you can really feel the history when you walk through the streets around here. Being in Mumbai City means there’s never a dull moment outside our windows. We’ve been operating as Allanasons Exports LLP from this building for quite a while. The architecture is old, and the rooms have high ceilings. It’s a different vibe from the new glass buildings you see in other parts of the city. Most of the day is spent managing the shipping and handling the endless paperwork. The sea is just a short walk away, and sometimes you can smell the salt in the air. We don’t use any fancy corporate jargon to describe the business. People just come in, sit at their desks, and handle the orders. Traffic in Colaba can be a nightmare sometimes, so being patient is a requirement. We’re just a group of people who know this industry well. There’s a lot of tradition in how things are done here, and everyone respects that. It’s not always easy work, but it’s what we know. The focus is always on keeping the operations running smoothly from our base here on Allana Road. It's a busy life, but it suits us just fine.
