I set up here in Goregaon West a long time ago. The shop is right at the Char Rasta, near the Gheekanta corner. You can’t miss Raopura Tower if you’re from around here. It’s a busy spot with lots of noise from the traffic. Most days I’m just here sorting through things or talking to people who drop by. It’s not some big corporate setup. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes. The building is older, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the lift in the tower is slow, so I just take the stairs if I’m in a hurry. Being on the corner means I see everyone passing by. It’s a good way to stay connected to the neighborhood. We’ve had some good years here and some quiet ones too. Dealing with the paperwork and the daily chores takes up most of the time. I don’t really do much fancy stuff. Just keeping things running. My desk is usually a bit of a mess with notes and bits of paper. People know they can find me here most afternoons. It’s a simple life. The tea is good around the corner, and the people are mostly friendly. I’ve lived in this city all my life, so Goregaon feels like home. I don't plan on moving anywhere else. It’s a bit dusty with the construction nearby, but that’s just the way the city is these days. We just deal with things as they come.
